No, Joyful Journey Hot Springs Spa does not use any chemicals, including chlorine, to treat the hot springs water. In order to ensure clean, natural and healing waters, each soaking pool is drained and cleaned nightly. The water is in consistent transition as it flows from the natural springs. Geothermal, gravity-fed spring water flows at approximately 140 degrees. We regulate the temperature of the water to be suitable for soaking and maintain a consistent flow of water in and out of the pools.
