Giving Thanks

What a beautiful time to reflect upon this past year!

What I wish to reflect upon at this time every year is giving thanks! I take this time to find the good, even within the bad! I appreciate the many blessings that I have, from the smallest to the largest! Often, we take things for granted. This is also an excellent opportunity to reflect on our lives. Are we missing some blessings? And most importantly, are we including ourselves as a blessing?

Me and my Dad!

I am thankful for my dad! He loves and takes care of me every day. He loves with no conditions, and I return that love.

I love having friends to play with, and even strangers to bark at! One day, they will become my friend too!

Camping Mountain View

I appreciate the clean mountain air and waters! I am blessed to look all around me to see the mountains. The beauty of the Sun and Moon rising and setting over them is truly something to behold.

I give thanks for my health. My paws take me everywhere, and I have fun; my legs are keeping up. My belly loves treats, and my heart loves kisses and pets.

Free Hugs

I appreciate “family”. Hear me out, please: not all of us have blood relatives to spend the day with! Some people are all alone! To me, family is the person who is there to wipe your tears when you cry, give you a hug when you need it, and feed your Soul. A friend can be the one that you run into, even working here at Joyful Journey. I love to give kisses.

I love me!

I take a look in the mirror and smile at what I see: a loving being who is blessed beyond measure. May you see the same reflection.

I hope you appreciated this post and have a great and safe holiday! ~ Joyful
